Objectives

"Perform" is all about accountability, that is, structured accountability. It means everyone knows who is doing what, what good looks like, and what the mutual expectations are in the company. Nothing is ambiguous, everyone knows if the won on the day, the week, the month, and the year.

Work Products

  • Build KPIs and Scorecards for every person in the Company
  • Implement the discipline of identifying "Rocks" to be managed every 90 days
  • Improve the governing through daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly management forums
  • Improve performance and employee satisfaction through coaching conversations

4.1

Scorecards

Create a culture of performance with visible, up-to-date stats. Know if winning or losing, solve problems faster, numbers create accountability. "Where the king looks, the cows gets fat" - African proverb.

Rocks (90-day objectives)

If you have F.A.S.T. objectives, it will determine where you spend your time, money and resources.

Govern through Meetings

Standard Meeting rhythms, in the right way, assures that the objects and culture is implemented, and that the business grows. Meetings are for communication, making decisions, getting alignment, and driving the culture forward.

Coaching conversations

Gallup's research shows employees wants a good relationship with their boss, know that their work matters, and want their job performance measured so there is no subjectivity.
